Job summary

Knox Community Hospital in Mount Vernon, OH seeks an RN Circulator for the Surgery Department. This full-time position supports the surgeon during procedures and provides direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process, ensuring timely assessment and care planning.

Preferred BSN; active Ohio RN license with BLS mandatory and ACLS required. CNOR/PALS preferred; prior surgery experience strongly preferred. A $20,000 sign-on bonus is offered for two years minimum experience.

Qualifications

• Graduated from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• Current licensure to practice professional nursing in Ohio.
• Current AHA Healthcare Provider CPR (BLS) certification required.
• ACLS required.
• CNOR/PALS preferred.
• Surgery experience strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Delivers direct/indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Implements and prioritizes patient problems and develops/implements a nursing plan of care.
• Demonstrates critical thinking to ensure safe, high-quality age-specific care.
• Delegates to team members and documents accurately and timely.
• Communicates and collaborates with other healthcare team members.
• Assists the surgeon during invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
