Job summary

Community Hospital is seeking a Full Time Registered Nurse Operating Room Circulator to join our surgical team. With a $15,000 Sign On Bonus, the Staff RN delivers direct intraoperative nursing care and collaborates with anesthesia and the surgeon while coordinating with the health care team and patient family.

Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited RN program and hold Oklahoma RN licensure; one year OR Circulator experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Current Registered Nurse Licensure with the State of Oklahoma required.
• Minimum of one year experience as an OR Circulator preferred.
• AHA BLS Healthcare required within 30 days of hire; AHA ACLS and PALS required within 120 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides care to surgical patients in the OR according to policy and procedure and care standards.
• Maintains knowledge of medications, equipment, expected patient outcomes during surgery and anticipated complications.
• Coordinates patient care with multidisciplinary team.
• Acts to protect and advance patient’s best interest.
