Job summary

UT Health East Texas – Tyler, TX is seeking a day shift, PRN, Outpatient Surgery Circulator RN to join our surgical services team in Tyler. The RN will participate in perioperative patient care, using the nursing process to support safe and effective care before, during, and after procedures.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in Nursing, valid Texas RN license, and BLS certification (ACLS preferred).

Qualifications

• ADN required.
• Must hold a current Texas RN license.
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role.

Responsibilities

• Provide and direct patient care for a group of patients before and during a surgical procedure.
• Apply nursing process to ensure patient safety and comfort around surgery.
