Job summary

University of Southern California (USC) seeks a Registered Nurse to support the patient care team and lead nursing operations within an acute care setting in Los Angeles. You will work under the Chief Nursing Officer, implementing care plans, educating patients, and guiding the nursing staff.

You will precept new hires, validate competencies, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve unit outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduation from RN program and California RN license.
• 1 year clinical experience in an acute care setting preferred, ortho/stroke exp encouraged.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS required and must be active at hire for various units.

Responsibilities

• Support Chief Nursing Officer in leading patient care teams.
• Implement nursing process across assessment, planning, interventions, and education.
• Precept new hires and validate competencies; teach nursing students.
