Qualifications

• Active RN license required.
• Experience in operating room setting preferred.
• Circulating and scrubbing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients prior to surgery.
• Provide patient and family education about procedure and peri-operative care.
• Prepare patient including IV therapy, preoperative meds, and site verification.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Recognize and respond to patient emergencies.
• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care with evidence-based practices.
• Be part of a dynamic interdisciplinary team.
• Apply nursing process, critical thinking, and leadership to ensure safe care.
• Assess patient condition, monitor during shift, and document changes.
• Educate patients and families about medical condition and follow-up measures.
