Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Radiology Technologist for the hospital OR setting. You will obtain operative and c-arm fluoroscopic images during sterile procedures, collaborating with surgeons to ensure optimal image quality while maintaining safety.

Requirements include AMA-approved radiologic technology education, ARRT (R), Nebraska radiographer license, and BLS. OR experience is preferred; on-call duties in evenings and weekends apply.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Nebraska state Medical Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required.
• 1+ year hospital surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation-emitting equipment following radiation safety protocols.
• Perform quality diagnostic portable x-ray and c-arm exams for surgeon review.
• Adjust technical parameters to optimize image quality.
• Position patients to ensure timely exams and accuracy.
• Attend department meetings and work independently or in a team in a fast-paced OR environment.
• On-call evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
