Job summary

OrthoNebraska is seeking a Surgery Radiology Technologist to operate X-ray and c-arm fluoroscopy in a fast-paced OR setting. The role requires ARRT (R), AMA-approved radiologic technology education, Nebraska radiographer licensure, and BLS certification. Clinical experience in surgical imaging is preferred.

You will work closely with surgeons, ensure imaging quality, and maintain patient safety while adhering to sterile protocols. Per diem/as-needed shifts and on-call duties may apply.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an AMA approved radiologic technology program.
• ARRT (R) certification required.
• Nebraska state Medical Radiographer license required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• 1+ years hospital surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate radiation emitting equipment safely following established radiation safety protocols.
• Perform diagnostic portable x-ray and c-arm exams in the OR.
• Adjust technical parameters to provide optimal image quality.
• Collaborate with surgeons to optimize patient positioning.
• Maintain sterile field and assist in cases as needed.
• Attend department meetings and participate in teamwork.
• Be on-call for evenings and weekends on a rotating basis.
