Job summary

Springfield Clinic is seeking a Surgical Radiology Technologist to perform radiographic procedures and assist physicians with imaging factors. You will operate C-Arm, obtain diagnostic radiographs, and ensure ALARA-compliant practice in Ambulatory Surgery, Pain Clinic and Diagnostic Radiology.

The role requires graduation from a JRCERT-approved radiology program, ARRT registration, IEMA licensure, and CPR within 30 days of hire; flexibility to cover varying shifts and strong patient-care skills

Qualifications

• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved radiology program.
• Current ARRT registration in Radiography.
• Current IEMA Radiology licensure.
• CPR certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Obtain diagnostic radiographs using proper exposure factors per ALARA.
• Operate C-Arm and adjust technical factors with Radiologists' guidance.
• Cover Ambulatory Surgery, Pain Clinic, and Diagnostic Radiology with varying shifts.
• Provide orientation/training to new technologists.
• Comply with OSHA and Springfield Clinic policies; maintain patient privacy per HIPAA.
• Maintain accurate patient data in PACS and support multiple computer systems.
