Job summary

The Springfield Clinic is seeking a Radiologic Technologist II to perform radiographic procedures under established protocols and ALARA guidelines. You will collaborate with radiologists, prepare patients, select factors, process images, and ensure safety and quality across the department.

Ideal candidates hold ARRT certification, graduate from an accredited program, and are proficient with RIS/PACS/EHR systems, with the ability to transport patients and operate C-Arm when needed.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved radiology program or ARRT-certified and active.
• Must work in specialty location (e.g., ASC, Ortho, Urgent Care) 80%+ of the time or participate in weekend/holiday rotation.

Responsibilities

• Obtain a complete patient history and review prior exams.
• Produce quality radiographs.
• Select proper technical factors per protocol.
• Provide shielding in accordance with radiation safety standards.
• Operate radiology equipment as directed.
• Maintain Department procedures and cleanliness.
• Assist with patient transport and image assembly for interpretation.
• May assist in C-Arm operation in ASC/Pain Clinic.
