Qualifications

• Strong clinical nursing background with focus on patient safety and quality.
• Experience translating evidence into practice and leading education initiatives.
• Familiarity with perioperative processes, regulatory standards and quality benchmarks.

Responsibilities

• Identifies educational needs of team members and families and develops training materials.
• Supports training of novice clinicians as instructor and mentor.
• Leads performance improvement activities and policy development within the unit.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory standards and participates in Shared Governance.
