Job summary

Corewell Health seeks an RN for the 3 East Surgical Progressive Unit at Troy Hospital. The role provides professional nursing care to vascular, trauma, ortho and GI surgical patients, aligned with patient-family centered care, nursing process and Corewell Health policies.

You will collaborate with the Nurse Leader, plan care, and educate patients and families, documenting learning in the health record. On-site night shift with self scheduling and weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing required.
• Bachelors in Nursing required within 5 years.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from AHA/ARC/Canadian Heart and Stroke required on hire.
• ACLS required within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge patient care.
• Educate patients and families; document education in health record.
