Job summary

Sacramento Foot & Ankle Center, part of Balance Health, seeks an experienced podiatrist for the Sacramento, California region. The Surgical Podiatrist will provide routine and referral podiatric care under the CMO, focusing on quality patient outcomes.

Essential functions include diagnosing foot and ankle diseases, performing surgeries, wound care, and patient education. Strong communication and documentation skills are required.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Podiatric Medicine from an accredited school required.
• California license to practice podiatry required.
• Board certification through ABFAS preferred, not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Examine feet and ankles to diagnose diseases.
• Perform surgical procedures as needed and manage wounds.
• Prescribe medications, therapy, or surgery as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate medical records for patients.
