Responsibilities

* Call Commitment: Minimum of 14 days/month of 24-hour call coverage
* Primary Responsibilities:
* First assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties
* Perform patient consultations and evaluations
* Manage pre-operative and post-operative care
* Team Collaboration: Work closely with attending physicians, OR staff, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional care.
* Growth Opportunity: Gain hands-on experience in a busy community hospital with a variety of cases.

Qualifications

* Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
* NCCPA Certification required
* Licensed or eligible for licensure in the state of California
* Prior surgical first-assist experience preferred
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
