Danbury Hospital, now part of Northwell Health, seeks a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join our Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services in Danbury, CT. The role includes pre- and post-operative care, day-to-day patient management, and potential OR assist as the program expands.

The ideal candidate is an aboard certified PA with prior surgical experience; DaVinci robotics training is a plus, and new graduates will be considered for an employed position offering competitive compensation

Danbury Hospital, now part of Northwell Health, is seeking a full time Surgical Physician Assistant to join our established and growing Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services program in Danbury, Connecticut,locatedabout 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York State.

Our busy service of 12 full-time Advanced Practitioners currently provides services to all surgical patients admitted to the hospital, as well as in Observation, Extended stay, Emergency room, and Operating room, including consults as well aspreand post-operative care.Specialties include, but are not limited to, Urology, Orthopedics, Neurosurgical/Spine, Plastics, and ENT.As we grow the program, we will be evolving to a 24/7 service that includes some ORassist. This position follows a rotating schedule including days, weekends, holidays, and minimal overnight coverage.

The ideal candidate will be aboard certifiedphysician assistant withprevioussurgical and/or patient management experience and/or surgical residency trainingand/or DaVinci robotics training, though new graduates will be considered. This is an employed position with Nuvance Health Medical Practice. We offer a competitive compensation package, including allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses.
