Job summary

Danbury Hospital, now part of Northwell Health, seeks a full-time Surgical Physician Assistant to join our Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services in Danbury, CT. The role includes pre- and post-operative care, day-to-day patient management, and potential OR assist as the program expands.

The ideal candidate is an aboard certified PA with prior surgical experience; DaVinci robotics training is a plus, and new graduates will be considered for an employed position offering competitive compensation

Qualifications

• Aboard certified physician assistant with surgical or patient management experience.
• DaVinci robotics training is a plus; new graduates considered.
• Active license and board certification as a Physician Assistant required.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre- and post-operative care for surgical patients.
• Assist in operating room and in consults; participate in OR coverage.
• Support expansion of 24/7 Surgical Advanced Practitioner Services in Danbury.
