Job summary

Orlando Health, Inc. is recruiting for a part-time Nursing Assistant to join the Surgical PCU team in Orlando, FL. The role requires assisting with hygiene, mobility, and patient care on a 6:45 AM to 7:15 PM day shift, with orientation in the first week from Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 4 PM.

Unit emphasizes complex postoperative care across neuro, spine, ortho, and other specialties. Prior CNA or nursing assistant experience is valued; Florida licensure/certification is required or in process.

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent.
Nursing Assistant or Patient Care Assistant Program, or Florida CNA certification, or LPN license, or nursing school graduate, or EMT/Paramedic, or foreign licensure.

Responsibilities

Assists patient with hygiene, mobility, hydration, and nutritional needs.
Provides routine treatments and maintains a safe, clean, and organized patient environment.
Maintains safety, privacy, and confidentiality of patients and families.
Performs standard precautions and hand hygiene.
Assists with admission, transfer, and discharge of patients.
Monitors and records vital signs as directed.
Transports and delivers items, equipment, and medications around the facility.
