Zusammenfassung

Texas Health Frisco is seeking a Patient Care Tech (PCT) to join the Surgical unit on a PRN/As-needed basis. This role supports patient care, data collection, and daily living activities under nurse supervision in a busy 16-bed unit.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma, CNA/PCT experience, and BCLS certification. Training and orientation occur during the first week; strong communication and teamwork are essential for care delivery.

Qualifikationen

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent Required.
• Previous CNA/PCT experience preferred.
• PCT Training Program TX CNA, NHA, NAHP, NCCT or THR approved program.
• EMT experience or nursing student status can qualify.
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to independent patient care.

Aufgaben

• Provides assistance to patient according to plan of care.
• Collects patient data and reports significant findings to nurse.
• Assists in admission/transfer/discharge.
• Performs and revises activities of daily living to patient/family preferences.
• Performs technical procedures safely and accurately.
• Keeps patient environment clean and safe.
• Documents accurately and collaborates with nurse to adapt care.
