Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor in Surgical Pathology and Cytopathology. The successful candidate will provide diagnostic pathology services in surgical pathology, cytopathology and autopsy, and be a member of the Surgical Pathology team while consulting with clinical staff.

Teaching medical students and residents and pursuing research are expected.

Qualifications

• Requires MD/DO or equivalent; board certification or board eligibility in Anatomic Pathology / Clinical Pathology or Anatomic Pathology; and New Jersey State Medical License.

Responsibilities

• Provide diagnostic pathology services in surgical pathology, cytopathology, and autopsy.
• Be a member of the Surgical Pathology team, consulting with clinical staff.
• Engage in educational programs and teaching of medical students and residents; participate in research.
• Participate in autopsy and cytology services.
