Job summary

Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ seeks an Anatomic Pathologist specialized in Surgical Pathology to join RWJ Pathology. The role provides general surgical pathology and cytopathology services at RWJUH, with expectations for active participation in teaching and research.

The successful candidate will be board-certified in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology, hold an MD/DO/MBBS, be licensed in NJ, and participate in autopsy service.

Qualifications

• MD/DO/MBBS required.
• Candidates must be licensed or qualified to obtain a license to practice medicine in New Jersey.
• Board certification by the American Board of Pathology in Anatomic and/or Clinical Pathology with specialization in Surgical Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical services in the Division of Anatomic Pathology (AP).
• Perform general Surgical Pathology services and related cytopathology lab services.
• Be an active member of the anatomic pathology team and participate in educational programs for students and residents.
• Engage in productive research activities and participate in autopsy service as required.
