Job summary

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kentucky is recruiting a board certified surgical pathologist. Fellowship training or strong interest in breast and/or gynecologic pathology is preferred.

The successful candidate would join an academic hospital-based practice with teaching duties and potential involvement in an active research program. The department is an integrated unit with strong pathology, educational programs, and research affiliations.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated ability in teaching students at all levels in an academic environment.
  • Knowledge of pathology and laboratory medicine practices in a variety of clinical, teaching and research environments.
  • Demonstrated interest and ability in scholarly activity evidenced by peer review publications and investigative experience.

Responsibilities

  • Join an academic hospital-based practice with primarily anatomic pathology subspecialty service and teaching duties.
  • Engage in teaching students, residents and fellows across multiple levels.
  • Pursue an active research program aligned with title series and rank.
