Job summary

The Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at the University of Kentucky is recruiting a board certified surgical pathologist. Fellowship training or strong interest in breast and/or gynecologic pathology is preferred.

The successful candidate would join an academic hospital-based practice with teaching duties and potential involvement in an active research program. The department is an integrated unit with strong pathology, educational programs, and research affiliations.

Qualifications

The faculty member must have:

• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Licensed in Kentucky.
• Demonstrated ability in teaching students at all levels in an academic environment.
• Knowledge of pathology and laboratory medicine practices in a variety of clinical, teaching and research environments.
• Demonstrated interest and ability in scholarly activity evidenced by peer review publications and investigative experience.
• Fellowship training or comparable experience in surgical pathology and one or more of the following areas: Genitourinary, Gynecologic, Renal.

Required License/Registration/Certification

• Board certification or eligibility in Anatomic or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology.
• Licensed in Kentucky.
