Job summary

Emory University Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine invites applications for a full-time Academic Surgical Pathologist specializing in breast pathology. The successful candidate will join a collegial, subspecialized team evaluating ~1200 new breast cancer cases yearly across seven locations.

Board eligibility/certification in Anatomic Pathology and Georgia licensure are required; fellowship in breast pathology preferred.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Anatomic Pathology.
• Eligible for Georgia medical licensure.
• Fellowship training in breast pathology preferred.
• Interest in further subspecialties such as gynecologic pathology or cytopathology desirable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and sign out breast pathology specimens.
• Contribute to teaching, clinical and translational research within an academic setting.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across the breast center locations.
