Job summary

Health First in Florida is seeking a motivated APP to join an expanding surgical team. You will support two surgeons with first assist, inpatient care, and clinic duties, participating in the full patient care journey from consult to post-op follow-up.

This role offers a balanced mix of surgical, hospital, and clinic exposure with opportunities to expand OR time as block scheduling evolves, backed by a strong surgicalist APP team.

Qualifications

• PA-C or AGACNP with First Assist Certification.
• Active Florida licensure or eligibility.
• NCCPA or ANCC certification as applicable.
• BLS and ACLS certification.
• Credentialing requires case/procedure logs.

Responsibilities

• First assist in surgical procedures.
• Hospital rounding and consults.
• Manage pre and post operative patient care.
• Clinic visits including new patients and follow-ups.
• Coverage across multiple sites as needed.
