Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Check all equipment for proper functioning.
• Assist in moving patient to and from operating table.
• Prepare the surgical suite for procedures.
• Assist surgeon with gowning, gloving and sterile field setup.
• Maintain sterile technique and assist in instrument counts.
• Document procedures and handle instrument reprocessing.
