Job summary

USPI Fresno is seeking an Operating Room Technician to assist surgeons during operative and invasive procedures and ensure the operating suite is prepared and sterile. You will monitor instrument counts, sterilize tools, and support the surgical team throughout the case.

The role requires strong English communication, attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate with nurses and clinicians to maintain patient safety and efficient workflow in a busy OR setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two years of related experience and/or training preferred.
• BLS certification required; Surgical Technician certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist surgeon during operative and invasive procedures.
• Prepare the surgical suite and ensure aseptic conditions.
• Monitor instruments, counts, and instrument sterility.
• Document procedures and participate in performance improvement.
• Move and position patients as needed.
• Handle instrument sterilization and reprocessing.
