Gramercy Outpatient Surgery Center in Houston, TX is seeking a Surgical Tech PRN to support the operating room under the direction of a Registered Nurse. You will scrub and assist the surgeon, maintain sterile technique, and help prepare the OR between cases to ensure safe, efficient patient care.

Candidates should graduate from an accredited Surgical Technology program, have at least one year in an OR setting, and hold current BCLS certification.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program (preferred).
• One year experience in an operating room setting (preferred).
• Valid BCLS Certification upon employment (Online certification not acceptable).

Responsabilidades

• Assist in scrubbing and assisting the surgeon at the operative field.
• Maintain sterile technique and instruments throughout procedures.
• Prepare the operative suite for surgery by gathering supplies, equipment, and instruments.
• Ensure sterile handling of instruments, sponges, sutures, and dressings.
• Turnover OR suites between cases and prepare the next day's procedure room.
