Memorial Hermann Surgery Center- Woodlands Parkway is seeking a PRN Surgical Technologist to join the on-site team. The role involves scrubbing for procedures, preparing and maintaining instruments and supplies, and supporting quality improvement initiatives within a dedicated ambulatory surgery setting.

Under nursing direction, the technologist contributes to patient-centered care, collaboration with physicians, and an efficient operating room workflow.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of an approved surgical technician program.
• Previous ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and patient management.
• Understanding of aseptic techniques and their application.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions.
• Strong communication and teamwork with staff, patients and physicians.

Responsabilidades

• Scrubs for surgical procedures as part of the surgical team.
• Prepares and maintains supplies, instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Supports the philosophy and goals of the Surgery Center.
• Participates in quality improvement activities.
