Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking an experienced OR Team Leader to oversee perioperative services across orthopedics, ENT, GYN, and other lines.

You will supervise staff, coordinate cases, manage equipment and education, ensure quality care and core measures, and act as liaison with physicians and the Surgical Center Management team. Qualifications

• LA RN license with perioperative/intraoperative experience (2+ years).
• Current BLS and ALS certifications through ILCOR-provided courses.
• ILCOR course must include a manikin check off.
• Two years OR orthopedic specialty experience and 1 year leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff and case coordination across surgical service lines (Ortho, ENT, GYN, etc.).
• Education, competency, and maintenance of preference cards; quality care and core measures.
• Coordinate and supervise perioperative nursing interventions; liaise with physicians and management.
