Job summary

St. Tammany Health System in Covington, LA is seeking an RN OR Team Leader to oversee perioperative services across orthopedic, ENT, and gynecologic lines. You will coordinate staff, cases, and equipment while guiding nursing interventions and quality care delivery.

The role requires active LA RN licensure, BLS/ALS certifications, and leadership experience with a specialty focus. This is a 40-hour week, Monday–Friday position in a supportive, community-focused health system.

Qualifications

• Current LA RN Licensure with a minimum two years of perioperative experience.
• BLS and ALS certifications through ILCOR with manikin check off.
• Two years OR orthopedic specialty experience required and at least 1 year leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate staff and case management for assigned surgical service lines.
• Ensure efficiency, product and equipment management, and competency education.
• Supervise care delivery and support physicians, assistants and practitioners.
