UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking an Operating Room Attendant to support surgical teams in a busy Dallas-area hospital. The role includes decontamination, waste handling, supply management, and patient transport across OR suites and related areas.

Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years hospital experience, and BLS certification. OR experience is preferred, with a focus on safety and efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

Competenze

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Graduate of formal program or documented on-job training accepted.

Mansioni

• Performs decontamination procedures after surgical procedures and disposes of hospital waste using proper color-coded bags.
• Orders, stocks, and monitors usage of OR Attendant supplies and protective gear.
• Transports patients, beds, instruments, supplies, equipment, and labs to and from surgery and other hospital areas.
• Dons sterile gloves and PPE to assist OR staff with patient transfer and positioning; operates OR equipment safely.
