Job summary

The OR RN will function in circulator and scrub roles, ensure sterile technique, manage medications and documentation, and participate in the Time Out process.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency required for direct patient care per VA standards.
• Nursing degree from ACEN/CCNE accredited program or equivalent pathway with licensure eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, and coordinate care for patients undergoing operative or invasive procedures.
• Maintain sterility of the surgical field and ensure safe use of instruments and equipment.
• Document care comprehensively in the electronic health record.
• On-call requirement for emergencies.
• Support standard operating procedures and infection control measures.
