Good Shepherd Health Care in Hermiston, Oregon, is seeking a Perioperative Aide to assist the Surgical Services team. You will prepare and distribute case carts, equipment, and supplies, and assist with patient transport to support efficient operating room flow.

Requirements include a high school diploma and basic computer skills; Basic Life Support certification is preferred. The position offers a 36-hour workweek from Friday to Sunday with an 7:00 am–7:30 pm schedule.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support Certification preferred.

Mansioni

• Prepare and distribute surgical case carts according to physician's preference lists and needs of the perioperative team.
• Prepare and distribute equipment and positioning supplies for the perioperative team.
• Maintain inventory levels of anesthesia equipment and supplies, including carts and supply areas.
• Assist in transporting patients and equipment as needed.
• Follow protocols for transporting equipment, supplies, and other items.
• Safely move and transfer patients onto transport vehicles using appropriate devices.
