Job summary

Indiana University Health in Indiana seeks an experienced OR nurse with at least one year of RN experience; two years of OR experience preferred. This role offers exposure to a wide range of surgical specialties and opportunities to advance clinical expertise within IU Health North Operating Room.

Qualifications

• Requires ASN; BSN preferred.
• RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license.
• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other ALS may be required per unit.
• Minimum one year of RN experience; two years OR experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for adult and pediatric OR patients in diverse surgical specialties.
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia staff, CSTs, and OR assistants.
• Provide focused, high-quality care with one patient at a time.
• Support learning and mentorship within the unit.
