Job summary

Independence Health System Inc. seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to deliver peri-operative care using the nursing process, specializing in rapid assessment, planning, intervention and evaluation for surgical patients. You will provide compassionate patient and family support and collaborate with the care team to ensure safety and quality.

Ideal candidates hold an RN license, have a BSN preferred, and complete clinical rotations in nursing. Prior OR or cardiac scrub experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Registered Nurse Program.
• Bachelor Degree in Nursing.
• Clinical rotation through educational program.
• One year Operating Room experience or open heart experience preferred.
• Prior scrub experience, case setup, and ability to assist physician with aseptic technique.

Responsibilities

• Deliver peri-operative care using the nursing process with rapid assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
• Provide excellent customer service and effective communication with patients and families.
• Support patients' and families' physical and emotional health.
