Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room in a high-volume perioperative setting. The role focuses on assessing patient status, developing perioperative care plans, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, efficient surgical care.

Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited nursing program with valid state licensure and current BLS/ACLS; pediatric care may require PALS. ACLS/PALS as applicable; specialty perioperative certification preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification current or within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification current or within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required when pediatric care is included in facility scope within 90 days of employment.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.
