Job summary

JCMG in Jefferson City, MO seeks a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room to support the Surgery Center. The role requires a valid MO RN license, ADN/BSN, and operating room experience.

You will perform conscious sedation and anesthesia support, maintain infection control, document care, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Benefits include health insurance, PTO, retirement plan, and tuition reimbursement.

Qualifications

• ADN or BSN degree (MO RN license in good standing)
• Current BCLS certification
• Current ACLS certification (or obtain within 6 months)
• Basic computer skills in Microsoft Word and Excel

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates appropriate assessment of the patient and documents appropriately.
• Plans patient care to achieve optimal level of function based on nursing assessment, diagnoses, and/or medical treatment.
• Implements patient care according to planned interventions and documents accordingly.
• Evaluates patient status and revises plan as needed.
• Promotes professionalism and participates in quality improvement.
• Serves as a professional resource and assists in training staff.
• Demonstrates understanding of role in conscious sedation and medication administration.
• Maintains safety and infection control measures.
• Provides quality customer service to patients and staff.
