Openwork Health is seeking an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to join our perioperative care team in the United States. The role emphasizes patient safety, collaboration with surgeons, and maintaining high standards of infection control.

Formación

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Previous experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting preferred.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications as required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical nursing protocols and procedures.
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
• Compliance with all facility and regulatory requirements for OR RNs.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare operating rooms, instruments, and equipment for scheduled surgeries.
• Assess patient needs and provide preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care.
• Monitor vital signs, respond to emergencies, and advocate for patient safety during procedures.
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists for seamless workflows.
• Maintain accurate nursing records and documentation per facility policies.
• Educate patients and families on surgical procedures, recovery, and aftercare.
• Stay updated on best practices, protocols, and continuing education in perioperative nursing.
• Adhere to facility-specific requirements and protocols as directed.
