Job summary

The Beth Israel Lahey Health family is hiring an Operating Room Attendant at New England Baptist Hospital. This full-time day shift role supports surgical teams by assisting in patient positioning, transferring, room turnover, and equipment handling.

You will help prepare the OR between cases, ensure clean rooms, and follow safety protocols. Experience is not required beyond 0-1 year; a Heart Saver certification is required within 60 days of hire.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Heart Saver certification required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assists in positioning and transferring of patients.
• Assists in positioning of patients for surgical procedures.
• Wipes and cleans OR surfaces and equipment between cases.
• Delivers PACU stretchers and assists in transferring patients to rooms.
• Ensures proper room turnover times and safety precautions.
