Corewell Health West's Cancer Health Service Line in Grand Rapids is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Surgical Oncology team. You will work with three physicians and four other Advanced Practice Providers, in a high-functioning environment on the Medical Mile.

Enjoy a hybrid schedule with outpatient focus and inpatient rotation responsibilities, following patients independently and assisting surgeon staff with pre- and post-operative visits, and in-office

Qualificações

• 3 years of relevant clinical experience required.
• Experience in a collaborative provider role required.
• Oncology and/or surgical experience preferred.
• Active MI RN and NP licensure upon hire.
• BLS/ACLS/NRP certifications required upon hire or within stated timelines.

Responsabilidades

• Follow patients independently in outpatient and inpatient settings.
• Support surgeon staff with pre-operative, post-operative and surveillance visits.
• Perform in-office procedures such as punch biopsies, I&Ds, or aspirations.
• 1:5 outpatient call schedule once adequately trained.
• Participate in multidisciplinary tumor boards and research studies.
