Job summary

Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks a Nurse Practitioner-Surgical Oncology to coordinate oncologic surgery care with the surgical team and referring physicians. You’ll organize, plan, staff, direct, and contribute to program development while delivering high-quality patient care.

In this role, you’ll work under clinical protocols for palliative care, manage pain, and ensure safety and compliance with Nevada nursing standards. Collaboration with leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Master's prepared RN with Nevada license and APRN credentials.
• Experience in oncology or surgical oncology settings preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with surgeons, nurses, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate oncologic surgery consultations with physicians and teams.
• Provide patient- and family-centered care following protocols.
• Prescribe medications as allowed by Nevada laws and DEA privileges.
• Lead staff, ensure quality standards, and participate in staff education.
