Join Morrison Healthcare at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA as a Surgical Nutrition Support RD. You will provide medical nutrition therapy for surgical patients on nutrition support and collaborate with the Surgery team in rounds and training of residents.

This full-time, M-F role with rotating weekends offers benefits and education support. CNSC should be obtained within one year; RD registration or eligibility with CDR is required.

Qualifications

• Registered Dietitian with Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible.
• CNSC certification must be obtained within one year of hire.
• Experience in nutrition support in surgical settings preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide medical nutrition therapy for surgical patients on nutrition support (enteral and parenteral).
• Collaborate with Surgery attendings and residents; participate in rounds and training of dietetic interns.
