Join Morrison Healthcare at University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville, VA as a Surgical Nutrition Support RD. This full‑time role provides medical nutrition therapy for surgical patients on nutrition support, including enteral and parenteral nutrition, and participates in twice weekly rounds with Surgery Attendings.
The ideal candidate is registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration or eligible; CNSC must be obtained within one year of hire.
Formación
- Registered Dietitian with CDR or eligible.
- CNSC must be obtained within 1 year of hire.
- Nutrition support experience preferred.
- Strong clinical judgment and commitment to evidence-based practice.
Responsabilidades
- Provide medical nutrition therapy for surgical patients on nutrition support (enteral and parenteral).
- Join two other Nutrition Support Surgery dietitians on the interdisciplinary team and participate in rounds with Surgery Attendings.
- Assist in training surgical residents and dietetic interns; support quality improvement initiatives.
