Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with BSN or MSN.
• Current RN licensure in MD or Compact State.
• BLS certification (American Heart Association).
• Minimum 5 years of specialty experience in an acute care setting.

Responsibilities

• Precepting and mentoring staff in nursing process and patient care.
• Providing clinical teaching and directing patient assignments.
• Facilitating staff development, orientation and training.
• Participating in performance evaluation and coaching.
• Developing and revising patient care standards and pathways.
• Improving patient outcomes with evidence-based nursing practices.
