UCLA Health in West Hills, CA seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner Supervisor to oversee surgical services and mentor APPs across multiple surgical specialties. The role emphasizes clinical leadership, program development, and staff education.

The NP will lead, participate in rounds, coordinate NP/PA student placements, and collaborate with Medical Director to hire and evaluate APP staff as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• CA RN License.
• CA NP License with furnishing and Schedule II authority.
• Master's or Doctoral Degree in Nursing in Adult-Gero Acute Care NP Specialty.
• ANCC certification in AG-ACNP.

Responsabilités

• Supervise, coordinate, and administer the practice of advanced healthcare professionals (AHP) including NPs and PAs.
• Collaborate with attending physicians to care for surgical patients across General, Cardiac, Vascular and Urology services.
• Develop and coordinate orientation and ongoing education for APP staff.
• Participate in quality improvement projects using outcomes data.
• Document patient care concisely and maintain cooperative relationships with administrative and clinical staff.
