ChristianaCare in Delaware is recruiting a Surgical NP or PA for our Surgery Department at Wilmington and Newark campuses. This full-time day role involves operating room duties, pre/postoperative care, and a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekends and call.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NP or PA accredited program.
• Acute Care NP required with a RNFA certification.
• Must be licensed or license eligible in Delaware.
• Two years' OR and inpatient management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for surgical patients as part of the surgical service team.
• Function in operative care, including positioning and draping.
• Assist as first or second assistant and write postoperative orders.
• Provide preoperative and postoperative care, including wound and discharge management.
