ChristianaCare is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join the surgical sub-specialty unit at ChristianaCare Wilmington Hospital. The role focuses on perioperative management and care coordination for orthopedic joint replacement patients, bariatric surgery, and other assigned procedures.

Qualifications

• Licensed NP or PA in Delaware
• Acute Care NP license required
• Prescriptive Authority or eligibility in Delaware
• DEA registration required
• ACLS required
• Experience as a NP or PA preferred

Responsibilities

• Oversee perioperative management for orthopedic and bariatric patients and other assigned surgeries.
• Coordinate care with the Center for Surgical Optimization and the Joint Replacement Program.
• Collaborate with orthopedic and surgical teams to optimize outcomes and reduce readmissions.
