ChristianaCare in Delaware is recruiting a Surgical Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join the Surgery Department at the Wilmington and Newark campuses. This full-time day position involves operating room duties, preoperative and postoperative care, and collaboration with the surgical service team.

Qualified candidates will have NP or PA degree, Acute Care NP, RNFA certification, Delaware license or eligibility, and 2 years OR/inpatient management experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NP or PA accredited program.
• Acute Care NP required with RNFA certification.
• Licensed or eligible to practice in Delaware.
• Two years’ operating room and inpatient management experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Provide operative care for surgical patients, including positioning and assisting in the OR.
• Perform preoperative and postoperative care, wound care, and drain management.
• Write postoperative orders and support the surgical service team.
• Collaborate with team for patient care across hospital campuses.
