Job summary

Mercy Jefferson in Festus, MO is seeking a Graduate Night Nurse to join the Surgical floor. The RN will provide patient care using the nursing process and uphold patient rights and confidentiality in a post-operative setting.

The role supports adult surgical patients on the night shift, with a 24-hour per week schedule and adherence to Mercy Service Standards. Eligible for a night shift sign-on bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
• Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care.
• Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients.
• Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments.
