Reading Hospital in Reading, PA is seeking Registered Nurses for full-time positions on the night and day shifts. Nurses provide comprehensive patient care, perform assessments, administer medications, and educate patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing.
• PA Registered Nurse license or Temporary Practice Permit is required; BLS certification.
• Active licensure in PA or eligibility to practice in PA.

Responsabilités

• Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care.
• Delivers excellent nursing care through evaluations, planning, implementation, and documentation for a diverse patient population with complex concerns.
• Performs patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing care goals and educating patients and families on conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
