Job summary

Pinehurst Surgical Clinic PA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide patient care in a surgical clinic setting. The role supports physicians, ensures safe and compliant care, and contributes to onboarding, workflow consistency, and operational excellence.

The LPN will perform clinical duties, aid in wound care, coordinate pre/post-operative documentation, and assist with pharmacy and administrative tasks while maintaining high standards of patient safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Practical Nursing Program.
• Current, unrestricted North Carolina Board of Nursing (NCBON) LPN license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience preferred.
• Demonstrated knowledge of infection control and sterile technique.
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows and patient care coordination.
• Administrative competency to support clinic operations.
• Strong professional communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments within LPN scope of practice.
• Prepare patients, rooms, equipment, and supplies for examinations and procedures.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered by the provider.
• Assist with clinical procedures and post-operative care.
• Coordinate surgery scheduling and ensure pre/post-operative documentation.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation and support billing compliance.
• Respond to patient calls and prescription requests per provider direction.
• Adhere to safety, regulatory, and facility policies.
